She's been twirling around her studio like it's game day already. Johnny and Todd are back tonight too, armed with their ever abundant knowledge and also patiently waiting for their outfits to arrive. But let's be honest, the sight of those two in cheeky would either break the Internet or break the camera lenses. We've got footy talk, fun and a whole lot of Bears energy coming your way. So settle in. This one's going to be a ride. Here's Roggie. [00:01:13] Speaker C: Hey, everyone. Welcome back to the Verfax. So, as Paul mentioned, I will be joined tonight by Johnny and Todd. So let's get started with tonight's show. Hi, Johnny, how are you? [00:02:02] Speaker D: Yeah, not too bad. How are you doing? [00:02:04] Speaker C: Good, good. Just getting off my sickness, taking a whole week. [00:02:10] Speaker D: That's good. Well, it's no good you're still sick. But it's good that you're charging ahead and you still brighten up the podcast with a wonderful intro and yes, awesome stuff. [00:02:21] Speaker C: Yeah, perfect. And let's bring in Todd as well. Hi. Hi. [00:02:29] Speaker E: Good. How are things? All right? [00:02:31] Speaker C: Yeah, things are good. Amazing. Second round of the NRL just happened. Any good bets you had going? Did you win any of your bets? [00:02:42] Speaker E: Not likely. I'm the last person to ask. [00:02:46] Speaker C: All right, let's bring in John, Johnny, and we could talk about our bets for the. For the last round. How did you go with your bets for round two? [00:02:55] Speaker D: Our tips? Yep. I got five from Mate, a couple of games stung me. How about you? [00:03:01] Speaker C: Yeah, same five and eight. [00:03:03] Speaker E: Yeah, I got five and eight too. Yeah, I wonder if all the same games we all got wrong. [00:03:10] Speaker C: Okay, which one? I got Broncos wrong and I got Roosters and Rabbito's. [00:03:19] Speaker D: Yeah, I think I got rabbits, Broncos and the other one, I'm not sure what the other one was. [00:03:25] Speaker E: Yeah, I got, I got Broncos wrong. I got. What else did I get wrong? I got Roosters wrong and I got the Knights wrong. [00:03:37] Speaker C: They were, they were good. They were really good. So, so round three, who do we think we're gonna. [00:03:49] Speaker D: I'm gonna say that later for like, for later. Let's have a think about it and, and yeah, I'm sure the tips will [00:03:56] Speaker E: change between now and down coming up probably. Yeah, it's a tough round but we'll talk about that later. So Johnny, we've got a new signing. [00:04:05] Speaker D: Yeah mate. So yeah, welcome everyone to the Barefax. So yeah, new signing. Michelange Aletsky, Polish born English international. Announced probably an hour and a half ago. Was rumored for a while. Wasn't sure if he was actually going to land or not but he's landed. He's. He's activated his release clause from the Leeds Rhinos. Comes here on a three year deal. Toddy, what do you think? [00:04:34] Speaker E: Yeah, another Rhino that Marks makes three of them joining Harry Newman and James McDonald. So I don't think he's taken the field this year from memory. So he might have a niggly injury but it was funny only about say 3 weeks ago he denied, you know, he's saying I'm not going to, you know, I'm staying with Leeds and I'm not going to the nrl. And he was adamant and next minute I walk the dog tonight come home and we've, you know, then you get an email and We've signed big 6 foot 3, 112 kilo polish, English international. So yeah, interesting, we needed a prop. [00:05:14] Speaker D: Yeah, we do and we're building, we're building quite nicely. Yeah, great addition signing number 16. So we're still awaiting the, the mysterious 17 signing. That Sharpie a few weeks ago said we had 17 locked in but great stuff we're building 14 to go guys. Let's go. [00:05:35] Speaker E: Well big Mal was in Sydney over weekend so big Mel and Perth officials are over. They're in North Sydney leagues club. I heard they were spotted there and I'm sure they spoke to a few players while they were over here. So it'll be interesting who they've been talking to. And we'll just have to wait and see. [00:05:52] Speaker D: See, that's it, mate. That's it. [00:05:56] Speaker C: Before we keep talking about signings, can we talk about last week's round? We want to go through the scores and everything. [00:06:02] Speaker D: Yep, yep. Take us away, Toddy. [00:06:07] Speaker E: Okay. Well, it started off with the Broncos and Parramatta and the Broncos got off to a, you know, got a good lead and you sort of think, well, this could be anything. And Parramatta just came back and shocked everyone, I think. And yeah, I think they're a bit of a smokey. You're going to cause a few upsets, a few disappointing performances in the Brisbane team. So, you know, like, I think Shibasaki's been a scapegoat for that, to tell you the truth. But yeah, yeah, just then you had the warriors over Raiders 40 to 6. That was another big upset. Really, like big upset. Roosters over Rabbito's 26 to 18. I spoiled AJ's night when he broke the tri scoring record. But, you know, we'll talk about him later. Again. Tigers 44 over Cowboy 16 Cowboys. [00:07:02] Speaker D: Good win. [00:07:03] Speaker E: They're atrocious. [00:07:04] Speaker D: That was good win by the Tigers. Tigers were good, man. They were good. [00:07:09] Speaker E: They were impressive, weren't they? But the Cowboys, I don't know, they're. They're a bit of a shovel, I think, at the moment. Storm 46 over Dragons 20, the Panthers 26 to 6. I thought it would be a lot harder that game over the Sharks. The night stuffed my tips again. 36 to 16 over sea eagles and the Dolphins. Well, what do they do? You know, they give away, what is it, 14 nil lead up. They do this most weeks and I did it most of last year. We were having a talk during the match and I said, they'll come back. You watch. And they do. You know, they just remind me of the Bears back in the day. Like the Bears would always snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. And it's like the Dolphins just give these leads and sometimes they can run them down. Last year they fell short in the semis. They tried to do it and nearly did it, but yeah, they're just one of those stress teams I, you know, and the Bulldoggies had to buy. [00:08:15] Speaker D: So what was your favorite game, mate? What was your favorite game? Worst game, best team performance and worst team performance of that round, I think. [00:08:25] Speaker E: I think the, I think the Rabbit O's and the Roosters was one of my favorites. Only because we're all waiting for Alex Johnson to break the record and seeing if he could. Those guys who Ran out, you know, when he equaled, when he equaled to try scoring record. Like got nabbed by security. I didn't think people would run on when he equaled but I knew it was. We're having bets at home saying surely they'll run on. Surely. And sure enough, you know, what a moment. You know I think, I think even, you know, as we saw a Rooster's fan jumped over. He's actually a Bulldogs fan, that young bloke. But he's just in a rooster's jersey. But even Rooster. Yeah, very confused. But I think even Roosters fans would have been happy for Alex Johnson. Like in 213 tries in 244 games. I just hope he, you know, people are saying maybe New Guinea 20, 28. I, you know, I just hope he stays a rabbit. Oh, I can't. I don't like it when, when long term players switch clubs. You know, it just doesn't feel right to me. [00:09:38] Speaker D: In the background growling and barking. [00:09:42] Speaker E: I thought that's not my, [00:09:47] Speaker D: I thought the, the Panthers performance was probably the best team performance. They just put a clinic on the Shark. Sharks weren't bad. The Sharks weren't bad by any means. You know, probably their possession could have been a little bit better. Complete completion. Right. But the Panthers just struggled and we'll speak about the six agains a little bit later and how momentum's influencing scores this year with a few rule tweaks. But the Panthers have shown, man, if you can defend then you mitigate six agains and you mitigate momentum swings. And they've just been so ruthless. And the worst team performance was manly. They were so insipid. How they didn't cash in on Ponger and, and Brown going off at half time. They're two main game breakers. They're two main guys and how they came out in that second half and you know, it's been discussed a bit and even, even when, when, when Garrick made that break and Saab came charging with him and then he went to play the ball and Saab was like a glitch in a video game. Saab just went off screen. I'm like what, what am I watching here? Like so that was inserted. But mate, you mentioned your favorite game before was the Roosters and Rabidos. AJ Johnson has officially overtaken Ken Irvine. Just a little backstory for people I don't know. Ken Irvine got that record from Harold Hoarder. Harold Hoarder played for both South Sydney Rabidos and North Sydney Bears. Ken Irvine played for North Sydney Bears AJ Johnson played plays for the South Sy Rabidos. But all three have played for the Bears at some stage. So there's always been a leading tri scorer in red and black, whether it's lower divisions or whatever photo evidence is around too. What did you think of that, mate? Like, it was good. Wasn't. [00:11:38] Speaker E: Was good. I was up, I was upstairs actually, you know, just had to go get something and I heard him running away, went, oh no, I've missed it. So I bolted down and yeah, it's a good moment, you know, like he seems a really nice bloke and nice player, you know. I'm glad it was him. [00:11:56] Speaker D: That's good, mate. Now before you mentioned that Mel and the team were hanging around North Sydney Leagues club and obviously there's been a couple of rumors come out this week about, you know, it's just hearsay and innuendo. It's rugby league. It's a day in rugby league. Bronson Cherry apparently wants out of the the. The dogs because he's not happy playing right center or going back to New South Wales Cup. Quick, quick answer, mate. Would you want to see him as a bear or do you reckon his attitude's no good? [00:12:30] Speaker E: I don't know. He went through that drug scandal a few years ago. He's a good player, don't get me wrong. But like I was, like I was having a look at the players we'd signed. Sean Russell, Nick Manie, Luke Lower Lily. You just look at them. That and last season I noticed they played predominantly on the right. Now this season they're on the left. So you know, it's in a. His Harry Newman from Leeds, he's right. Right side. Last year I'm not sure if he's. He can play left, but I'd, you know, some players, it's just how they step, how they run. Obviously that's his preference to be on the left side of the field, you know, like I know Bradman best on the central coast. He always rang to the left. We knew which way he was going to go every time, you know, just it was just a matter of stopping him. But yeah, players just have a preference, a lot of them to which side to play, which side they can pass better on. And yeah, I don't know, it'd be all right, but I don't know to spit the dummy. I'd be interested to see what side they're playing him on the field in New South Wales cup this weekend. [00:13:46] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. It's a hard knife for me if you're gonna spit the dummy like that because you're going to cut to potentially better yourself because there's deficiencies in your game. No, that's not the attitude we need. So in Sydney, mate. Stay in Sydney, mate. I don't think purse bears want you. That's just my take. Another potential dog that's been rumored for a while and it just. This rumor just won't go away and it's a good rumor is Matt Burden. You know, there's potentially pieces moving in the dogs if he goes to Center. That's $2 million being spent on centers with Cryon and him. Mate, give us, give us over and under 50%. Over 50. He comes to the, to the bears. Under 50. [00:14:34] Speaker C: What. [00:14:34] Speaker D: What you going. Did you go over over 50? [00:14:38] Speaker E: Yep, over 50. I just, I, I think Matty Burton, you know, he's got family in WA apparently. I hear I've all. It's as you said, it's a room of a. Won't go away. I've heard he wants to bring his brother in law across Warwick who plays in the roof. So. Yeah, I just think, you know, you know, he could rekindle his halves combination with Toby Sexton, which was at the Bulldogs last season, which did so well and yeah, I'd be happy to, you know, like putting, you know, I'm sure the WA people would love him putting those bombs up. We just need a player who can fly through the air and catch him, you know, so. [00:15:23] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [00:15:25] Speaker E: I just, I think he's a, he'd be a good signing and I really hope we do grab him. [00:15:31] Speaker D: Yeah, I, I agree with you. I think over 50 that he potentially comes to the Bears and I reckon that's going to increase. So if I had to give it an exact percentage, it'd be like 52% just a little bit over. But I think that potentially will increase as the year goes on and as things start to unfold at the Dogs. So yeah, he's a keep. He's a big body. He's a running first and you know he had success with Sexton and Sexton's going to be coming over so kind of makes sense. You know, he got him a top four. Let's. Let's see where it comes out and we'll circle back to this in a few weeks as more comes out. I'm sure more will. Another bit of news. Mal was on, was on record the other week saying that the Bears could potentially win the competition in their first year. Maybe Toddy over. Over and under 50% what do you [00:16:28] Speaker E: reckon I'll do under there? I'll probably, you know, as we have been talking about, you know, like, I hope the Bears do go well next season. I think to win the Premiership in your first say, well, you got to have goals, don't you? You've got to set yourself goals and you've got to have something to aim for. So obviously Mal being who he is, you know, like an immortal and grand final hero and Queensland hero, Australian hero, he's got high benchmarks. So good luck. Good, good on him for setting those benchmarks and I really hope the boys can do it. You know, my, my what would make me happy is if a challenge for the eight. Yeah, yeah, hopefully. And yeah, hopefully they didn't end anything. You know, as long as, you know, if they, even if they finish a wooden spoon, I'm just happy to be back in the comp. But that's one thing I'm, you know, there's a guy, you know, on our page today who was saying, you know, like wooden spoon contenders and I thought, yeah, oh well, you know, like you're supposed to be a bear supporter and you know what? Bear supporter sort of nabs him. [00:17:42] Speaker D: Yeah, Yeah. Also for those that I'm out was on 100 Footy last night on Channel Nine. He had a bit of a discussion about pathways and it looks like it's not the first time I've heard this coming out of the Perth Beds. But it looks like there's a goal to have a local born wa rugby league player go through the pathways and development and be NRL ready inside the squad in five to seven years. Toddy, I think that's more than achievable. I think we can get two like, or three like I think five. Yeah, okay. But seven definitely like that's, that's, that's almost a decade. You know what I mean? Like surely there's a 13 year old right now that in seven years is going to be 20. That'll be pushing for, that'll be good enough to, to be pushing for a, A squad spot. What do you reckon, Toddy? [00:18:44] Speaker E: Yeah, I've seen lots of juniors come through in my time have gone on nrl level and it's not out of a question. You know, they just need the right connection and they just need the right connection to sort of get through and you know, you know, it's not like they learn new skills. These guys have had the skills since they were you know, nearly eight or you know, six to eight and they just continue building on it. So, you know, like when they get in the pathways of these things and that, they just improve them and get them used to the style of game bait I meant to play in, but yeah, I can see it happening definitely, for sure. [00:19:18] Speaker D: Awesome. And then just on more potential signing news, as everyone knows, been keeping up the tabs. There's been Bears relevance news coming out pretty much for the last two weeks, which is great. Gives us heaps of content to speak on. Cam. Cam McInnes, he was on a podcast with actually his player agent, Steve Gillis. Steve Gillis, I believe that's right. And Steve Gillis, you know, he. He asked a question. Would, would Cam be open to joining the Bears? Which I thought was interesting. It was almost like a selling himself. Mate, I know you're a big fan of Cam. You'd have him as your captain, so would I. Anything further to add to that, to what we've already discussed? Just get it done. [00:20:08] Speaker E: Yeah, just make it happen, like. Yeah, you know, I know he's got to come back from his ACL and prove himself and that, but even off the field, like a guy like Cam McGuinness can set such levels off the field, let alone on him. And when he does play, you know what you're going to get. Like, you only have to look at the poor guy after every game. He leaves everything on the field and he just, yeah, let just, you know, he's one of them guys. He just gives his all. And after watching him in that interview. Yeah, after watching him in that interview, I, I'm a bigger fan. Like, yeah, I've really enjoyed that interview thinking, wow, you know, like, this is the sort of person we need, like team him up with Scotty Sorenson and, you know, have the experience. [00:20:57] Speaker D: Yeah, Yeah. Well, you know, he's not going to be. He's not going to get that model role, but he's definitely going to be a role model. So, yeah, just get it done, guys. Someone that is heading out west to Perth, but not for the Bears, for actually Rugby Western Force for two years, will be Zach Lomax. Toddy 50, over and under. Is Lomax going to end up being a bear now that he's going to live in Perth and he's going to see how beautiful the beaches are and how wonderful the city is? Or do you reckon he just. He won't come back to rugby league? What do you reckon? [00:21:41] Speaker E: I think it's 50, 50 call, really. Like you'd think he probably would, but I reckon he'll just. With the World cup actually in 27. I think he might, that might be enough incentive to sort of, if he goes well next, like this season, I should say he goes well this season with the Force. I think it might be enough to have him stay there to try his luck in that World Cup. So. But you know, like, if we did get him, there's our, there's our player who can jump up high for the Maddie Burton kick. [00:22:16] Speaker D: So yeah, you're not wrong, mate. You're not wrong. Anyway, and also lastly, just on this segment, the NRL released a report today and this also ties really wonderful with the Joan Saxon episode from last week. Check it out if you haven't already. So the report says that there's been a 23% increase of rugby league participation in WA between ages of 13 and 15 and a 17% increase from all junior ages between 6 and 18 and a 9% increase for all adult participation and registrations. That's amazing numbers. That's an amazing trajectory. It just shows that rugby league is strong in Western Australia. And anyone that has any doubts that this Perth Bears team is not going to make this work with the player pool, resources and pathway systems that we are developing there can, can go for a long walk on a short pier. This is amazing. This really made me happy. Out of all the news today, including the signing of another best player, this, this, this is the news that made me really put a smile on my dial. What do you reckon, Toddy? What's, what's left to say on that? [00:23:41] Speaker E: Yeah, it's very positive. Like Gus Gould did ask Mel Meninga that question on the show the other night. And it just sounds real positive. Like when they lost the Western Reds. I know there was a lot of damage done to rugby league in wa. A lot of teams folded, a lot of players lost interest because there wasn't that pathways. It was the same when North Sydney got, you know, got the chop. A lot of teams folded on the North Shore. A lot of players lost interest. They couldn't attract the right players for the younger reps because there wasn't that direct pathways. Other people would rather go like a team that actually had an NRL team. And I think you'll see actually both pathways, WA and North Sydney, you know, like get probably a bit stronger. Now we have got that direct NRL team. But no, I think it's great for rugby league in wa. Yeah, it's. It's good. Yeah. Fingers crossed. It's good. Bigger and better. [00:24:44] Speaker D: And, and just on that, just, just one last thing on, on this segment. So when, when Michelange Oledsky was announced Today on the perthbears.com webpage. David Sharp actually mentioned the academy that's set to launch next month in wa. It's called the Tracks Academy. So keep an eye out for that and yeah, fantastic. Anything further to add, Todd? Thanks. [00:25:11] Speaker E: Before we keep moving, I just hope like years ago, I don't know, like I haven't seen any like clubs in Sydney recently, but I remember years ago, like you'd go to a Manly Juniors game and I'd have the Sea Eagles logo on it on their jerseys and you'd go to a Bulldogs game and you know, junior game and they'd have a Bulldogs jersey on, you know, logo on their jersey. So I hope, you know, like, they do implement something like that, like with the Perth Juniors to have the per, you know, Perth Bears logo somewhere on their jersey just so that that child who runs on the field can look down and think, you know, I might be a chance one day to make this team. [00:25:51] Speaker D: I think that's 100% going to happen, mate. Yeah, no, that's great, mate. I agree with you. So Bear watch, mate. So the Bears had a bunch of players that played over round two. I think all of them had good performances. Any, any of them stand out to you, mate? [00:26:15] Speaker E: Yeah, Sean Russell, he's been, Sean Russell's been highly impressive since the challenge Challenge. What do they call that preseason challenge, you know, since that Parramatta won that. Yeah, he's even in the loss to Melbourne. Like he got the first try of a game. He played strongly and they had him on the wing, you know, like he played pre season challenge in the centers and they moved into the wing and you know, in the last. Yeah, last. He's. Last week he was in the centers and he's back in the centers this weekend as well, so. [00:26:45] Speaker D: Yeah, he is. Yeah. [00:26:47] Speaker E: And he scored a good try on the weekend, you know. Yeah, yeah, he had it. [00:26:53] Speaker D: Yeah, he had about like 20 mil of grass. Literally like that's all he had between his, the foot, his foot and the sideline and how he got it down. Like good reaction skills first and foremost and awareness. That was a good little try. I actually. Yeah, yeah, [00:27:14] Speaker E: he got a good one against Melbourne in the first round as well. Like he was about on his quarter line and he beat a few players and just showed a bit of strength and got over then as well. So, you know, like, I remember when we're going through the player signings in our very first episode, episode of a barefax podcast and you asked me what do you Think of Sean Russell. I said, johnny, to tell you the truth, I know nothing about it. Since then I've kept an eye on him and he's, he's really caught my eye. Like, I don't know where we'll play, whether it's centers or wing, but I'm pretty sure wherever he plays, he's gonna be, you know, one of our main players. So, yeah, he's good. [00:27:53] Speaker D: Yeah, he is good. And another young kid and another winger, potential center that had a good game was Luke Lily. Bagged a couple, Had a couple of defensive reads that, you know, he'd probably wish he'd want back. And couple of handling, er, this guy could have scored four tries. Like he, he, he was over the line for another two. Just couldn't put it down. He couldn't just get that catch, you know, just, just ice it. But, but then he scored another two. I think one was off an intercept too, if I'm not mistaken. It's got a little bit of speed to burn. Thoroughly impressed with him and I'm quite happy to see him retain this week as well. We all thought Masini was probably going to take that wing spot, but it was a genuine surprise and a nice surprise to see LA get a start as well. So, yeah, we'll keep an eye out on him. [00:28:45] Speaker E: I think Mac been in the centers the last few games, so. [00:28:50] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah. And that's, that's what's brought Lao Lily on. And then obviously just, you know, the, the seasoned veteran players all played their part. Meanie did what Meanie does. Wishart does what Wishart does. The most surprising thing is Sorensen's gone back. Not to bench because I kind of anticipated that, but he's gone back to the middle. So he's an, he's an impact middle forward again, which he hasn't been since like kick our left the Panthers. So he hasn't been like that since 2022. Really? Ironically enough, the Panthers are playing like it's 2022. They really are, but it just, it, it's kind of like, all right, well, there's less minutes going through Sorensen's legs right now, which means theoretically he should have even better higher output or be able to next year because he's not starting doing 80 minutes, whatever, on. On an edge for the Panthers. So I'm really keen to see how that plays out during the season and I'm really keen to see if he comes to the Bears and maintains that impact spot off the bench as a mid rotation, which I wouldn't Mind mate, like you know, like that's, that's fine with me. Like he does. He's a team, team first mentality player. So. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Many minutes. Talachai only got about 19 minutes. I thought he was only underused in that game. I mean Sharks could have probably used the circuit breaker to try and do something to get out of that choke. All at the Panthers had him in but is what it is. We know what Talakai can do. And mate, do you want to just touch on the English contingent over in the Super League? [00:30:36] Speaker E: Yeah, well in the English, in the English Super League they, they had a break from the Super League competition on the weekend and they went to the Betfred Championship it's called. And yeah, Leeds, Harry Newman and James McDonald Oledsky didn't play on the weekend to my knowledge. But James McDonald played well. Harry Newman got 10 minutes in the sin bin. We've been talking about how he's a bit of a lair and that. So yeah, we'll just have to, you know, he likes clumping up the opposition crowd by the looks of it. So yeah, they lost 24 to 14 to Wakefield. Then you had the Dragons, Catalan's Dragons. They, they beat Oldham 58 nil. Old Ham's, yeah, from the lower division. I think Toby played really well. He's been the goal kicker over there as well. So. So he's been kicking most of his goals. Good percentage rate Isaac for Malawi. He. I don't think he played again on the weekend so he must. He was named at one stage but then I noticed he dropped back to 18th man and then wasn't there. So he might be a bit injured at the moment. Then we got Luke Smith and Imali Bitagani. They play for the London Broncos in the championship which is under the Super League competition. And cattle, sorry, London Broncos, they were vying for a spot in a Super League competition and I think Darren Lock is like an owner of them or whatever. So they pumped their side up with Regan Campbell, Gillard and the two Perth Boys and that and a few others in the side. So they got a really good side on paper and they're just, you know, they, you know, they had their tightest game actually against Barrow on the weekend. That was 36 to 10. So. Yeah, but you know, just pumping everyone in that competition. So. Yeah, but it was good to see Amali and Luke Smith out there and yeah, I think all the boys had a run except for Isaac. So. [00:32:45] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, that's good, mate. Keep, keep, keep, keep that Coming. I hope the all the players get a run, mate. All right, well let's get into the reserves, mate. Let's get into the cub. Watch Matt you, you lead us off mate. How did the North Sydney Bears kids juniors and New South Wales cup go mate? [00:33:09] Speaker E: Okay, I'll start off with the juniors. So the juniors, you know they went all right. Harold, Harold. Matt's had a good win over Dragons 20 to 10. The SG ball they went down to the Dragons 32 to 22. Then in the girls, Elisa Fiola, the Bears got up there 1816. And in Natasha girl the bears got up again 1810. So you know they're actually not doing too bad in the females. They are like, they're up there like there's only a few rounds of that Comp is round seven this week and I think it only goes up to around nine I'm pretty sure. I mean it's final. So you know there's not many weeks left in that competition. In a knock on effect New South Wales cup the Bears came up against Western Suburbs Magpies and got up 26 to 16. That was a good game. I, I watched it on bar TV and yeah, the boys, you know, they led virtually all the way and it got tight near the end and then they just pulled away in the last 10 minutes. But yeah, I, the person who caught my eye in that game was the fullback Amaran Cudgeon. We talked, actually spoke about him last week. He's a WA player and he came through the storm system and he's with South Sydney and St George in the New South Wales cup competitions and he's come to Bears this year. So yeah, it was good. He was, he just looked a natural in that fullback spot. Got a great try and yeah, a lot of people I've spoken to said he just had a real great game who were actually at the game and we're watching it so yeah, it's good. [00:34:50] Speaker D: Awesome, mate. And in Queensland, the Queensland cup the. The Tigers took on the pride in the junior grades. So the Cyril Connelly they lost 14 to 8. Malmeninga got up 26 12. Harvey Norman under 17s 48 8. Harvey Norman under 19s 54 4. And in hot plus cup the tigers took on the Central Capras from Rocky and they got up 36, 22. So overall a good weekend for the Cubs. I think we only lost two out of all eight games, right? Or 10 games. So fantastic result all round. Yeah, let's, let's keep going Bears. Let's keep going. That's what we want to see. We want to see those kids keep pushing and keep getting better each week and improving and good things, good things lie to those that keep putting in the work. Hey, mate. [00:35:53] Speaker E: That's right, mate. [00:35:56] Speaker D: I was thinking the other day, this is bare pit trivia, right? So this is where we talk about a little bit of nostalgia, a little bit of back in the day, back in my day. You've been, you. You've said a few times, and I agree with your thoughts here, that Bears are going to have a million, a thousand jerseys of all sorts, right. For all different rounds. But if you could have one Bears jersey now, this can be for a one off game, heritage, whatever. It could be an obscure jersey. What Bear jersey would you want to see in 2027 as like an, like a heritage round or like a multicultural round, anything like that? Is there any particular one? [00:36:44] Speaker E: I like our retro jersey. You know, that's been one of my favorites. You can pick it up virtually anywhere. Rebel Sport Nap it. I like the reverse retro jersey where it's. But all black with the red. [00:36:59] Speaker D: Oh, the 1980s. Yeah, the 1980s fit. [00:37:02] Speaker E: Yeah, yeah, yeah, the 82, 84. That era and all of that. Yeah, that, that retro jersey. But I saw the New South Wales Cup a few years ago. They played with a reverse style one. It was all black with, with the red on it and that looked really good. [00:37:18] Speaker D: I liked that 2022 away jersey. I think that was 2021 jersey. Yeah, yeah, I. Mate, I hadn't even thought of that one. That is a great choice. That actually, that is one style jersey that I actually would love to see, especially in the cotton form. Like, you know, I've got a thousand jerseys, not really like a dozen jerseys hanging behind me, but I've got the traditional one. That's a good pick, mate. Me, I like the Claws or the Flames if you want to call it. I like that one. They brought it out recently. 1996 tribute Retro. I'd like to see that in a one off game, just, you know, whatever round it is. I also think for women in league round, we could do instead of red and black, we do a pink and black. I know it might be biting off a little bit of ripping off a bit of Panthers there, but I'd like to see our. One of our jersey style, but with the, with the pink and then the black, if that's chevrons or whatever. [00:38:22] Speaker E: I think I've seen a style like that, but I don't know if it was with North Sydney, if it might have been up in Tamworth. But someone had, I know someone had a pink Bears version of one of the jerseys and it didn't look too bad. [00:38:37] Speaker D: So yeah, so things to keep an eye on and yeah, definitely the wallet's gonna go a little bit light buying all this merchandise and all these jerseys. [00:38:47] Speaker E: Well, when you look at it, you got the home jersey, you got the away jersey, you got the retro jersey, you've got indigenous jersey, you got the anzac jersey, you know, you got the women in league jerseys. You know sometimes we have a Marvel Comics jersey like, like Deadpool would be the Bear probably because he's red and black I'd say. But yeah, like there's just so many different jerseys each year, you know, like I can't say why not? You know, like I know some WA people have said oh the yellow and everyone's against it and that but for a one off white, you know, I can't see why not. [00:39:27] Speaker D: Yeah. Moving on mate, stand aside, here come the Bears. So team list Tuesday dropped today. We've got our games, we've got our matchups. I think pretty much all the Bears contractor plays in are all the plane. The one that isn't was is probably Chris Via but he's been named on the six man bench for the Sharks for a few weeks now. So maybe he has. Very close, he's very close. He must be, he must be actually the next man up. Mate, is there any games this weekend that you look in on paper and go wow, that's, that's a must watch. [00:40:10] Speaker E: Well you can't go past Panthers and Roosters. That's going to be the highlight of around I think Storm Broncos, just a couple depends if the Broncos can bring their A game. So you know Stormer, you know performing pretty well at the moment but then Broncos have just got up their game a bit. But there's looking at the tip, looking at the tipping and all of that. There's, there's just a few hard games to tip this round. Like my goodness. [00:40:36] Speaker D: I agree, I agree mate. Yeah, I, I agree. I gotta agree with you mate. I think Friday night is definitely the night to grab a couple of pizzas. If you don't homemake them, grab a bottle or something and just watch the footy from 6 to, to 10 o' clock or, or 5 to 9 o' clock here in Queensland or 4 to 7 o' clock if you're in WA. Yeah, a couple of good games back to back. A couple of teams. The Broncos. Yeah, the Broncos, they need to bounce back. I know, I Know the husband in waiting. Roger, Ricky has not been playing that great. He's been getting criticized a little bit. So he probably needs, probably needs to pull his finger out, pull his socks up and just, just, just maybe I need a little bit more. You probably should have worked with it because. Yeah, I think, I think in that game, man, Shivasaki is unlucky to get dropped. Like, yeah. Oh, man, I would have dropped man before him if it's over. Defense, like, Shibasaki can defend, but when mem's like a deer in the headlights at times and Shibasaki has to make a split second decision and come in, go out. [00:41:59] Speaker E: That's right. [00:41:59] Speaker D: Then. Then the winger has to make a split second decision. The second roller on his side has been gone. Go. Then he gets a head knock and then they put someone else in there. Like, it just has been no continuity on that side. And I kind of feel like Shibasaki, yeah, he could play better, but I think he's like taking the, the brunt of the blame there, which I think is pretty, pretty crap. I think there's other players up before him, surely, but he's a rumored bear and maybe this puts him off and he ends up in wa. So it could be a silver line [00:42:35] Speaker E: and Johnny, another one. Jesse Arthur is not there again. [00:42:40] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:42:40] Speaker D: Yeah, that's. That's bizarre. Yeah. What do you reckon, Rosny? [00:42:45] Speaker C: I'm. I'm hoping that maybe the Bears get Jesse over here just because I like him a lot. That too. But he's also a good player and he needs to play a few games because when I did watch him play, he was really good. I just. I'm sad. I can't see him playing so, so many games right now. [00:43:01] Speaker D: He's. Jesse Arthur's a good player. He's way better than Grant Anderson. Grant Anderson's been named on the wing and I'm like, okay, Grant Anderson's all right, but he's. Is he better than Jesse Arthur? I don't think so. A couple of years ago, Jesse Arthur is one of the best players in a losing grand final team. Like. [00:43:20] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:43:20] Speaker E: And he was called up for origin too, wasn't he? [00:43:23] Speaker D: Yeah, like, Jesse Arthur's a good player, man. In the other game, Panthers roosters, Reese Robson comes back, he shores up the hook a spot. First game in tri colors. And Liam Martin is back also for the Panthers that the Panthers have been dominating and they haven't even had their full squad. Like I read today, Liam Henry's probably not coming back now until round six. Or seven. Leonard's coming back this week. Jack Cogger had a hia. So be good to see Robbo in, in tri color. See how he goes with with DCE and, and Walker and Tedesco and that's fine. Another game that I think could be anything is actually the Rabbit O's and Tigers because of how the Tigers performed last week. And that could be a high scoring affair. I can't, I actually don't know who to dip on that one. Doddy. We'll get to our tips later. But yeah, what do you think of that game? That game could be pretty good, eh? [00:44:18] Speaker E: Like after the Tigers display on the weekend. Yeah, as you said, that's going to be a tough one if the Tigers can maintain their form each week. Like that's been the main issue of the Tigers I found over the years. They just can't maintain a good game a few weeks in a row. So you know that I looked at that game and I went wow. You know, yeah, it's a tight one. And Raiders Bulldogs is another tight one. Like who knows? [00:44:48] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, no, all good. And for those that I know, North Sydney have the buy and the Brisbane Tigers play the jets in the Q Cup. So get out to Ipswich Reserve if you're in Queensland. Any more to add on that, fellas. Ladies. [00:45:08] Speaker C: No, no, not on my side. [00:45:11] Speaker D: All right. Bare necessities. So there's a, there's a rules and officiating and blowout scores. Mate, we'll, we'll speak about it here. So for those that are now bare necessities, Todd and I will just give our two cents for what it's worth on a couple of rules or, or shape or play or just general rugby league chat more strategical or officiating. So the six again. The crux of it is when the six again was introduced, you would blow a six again outside your 20 meter. And so as soon as you're outside your red zone with your 20 meter, you're in infringement. In the rock you'd get a 6 again. Then between 20, 22, 2005 it was actually it changed from 20 meter to the 40 meter. So the 6 agains reduced a little bit in volume. Now we've gone back to the original six again interpretation which is outside the 20 meter. And the teams that aren't as fit I think are getting caught out because they're, they just too slow on the rock. They just can't get the defensive line in, in shape and into position I should say. And it's just giving the opposition Multiple six agains. Because once it starts, it's very hard to reel back in and therefore momentum then shifts greatly over to one side. You, you're seeing teams that possession, they're like down to like 20% possession in like a 10 minute part of the game and they, you know, they get two or three tries scored against them and then the game is almost essentially over. I kind of feel like this is why the Landes wanted to introduce the kickoff the loser. Because of this. Because if you don't get bored, then you can get bored. Yeah. I think this is why, Toddy, you've played rugby league for years. You know that you would have played before the six again. I played before six again. But you know, as a very good rugby league head, that these six agains are the crux of the momentum and the momentum is then compounded by errors, fatigue and lack of possession. How do you wrestle back that momentum? How, how do you mitigate this? I want to hear your view on this. [00:47:37] Speaker E: Yeah, it's very, I don't, it's. Sometimes I look at these six agains and I, you know, even the players don't know what some of them are for. That's the, that's the issue. Like you just. And then some teams get the rub of the six and agains and their opposition don't. So yeah, it reminds me of many, many before my time of the unlimited tackle rule. A bit like sir, you could keep going and going and keep getting six agains if, if you're able to maintain, you know, put a grubber kick through, then you, you know, you get them in the in goal, then it's a dropout and they're all doing these short dropouts at the moment. Moment. So you, that's, that's a, you know, something they brought in to try and negate it, I think. But it just depends if you got those a good kicker who can take advantage of it and if also a good leaper who can jump above and whack it back to his teammate. So as for trying to turn the tide. Yeah, I think you just got to just hang in there. I, I've noticed a lot of teams now when the kick does go up and they're near the wing, they're not contesting it. They're waiting for the opposition to catch it on the full or catch it again and then whack him over the sideline. So I've noticed that in the last few weeks and that's a good option. So, yeah, like a lot of times I Used to see a winger from the opposition go to jump up and catch the effect, you know, the bomb. And I'm sort of thinking just let it go, let him just regather it and then force them over sideline or barrel them and hold them down. You'll get the ball back. But yeah, I noticed a lot of teams aren't contesting kicks now. If they're to the left or to the right, they're, they're letting the wingers actually, you know, catch them on the full and then they'll come in and, you know, finish them off. So that's one way of probably turning the tide for six agains. And another one, as Valandi said, is don't give away penalties, you know, like, don't give them away. [00:49:44] Speaker D: But pretty, you know, pretty much, mate. Pretty pretty much, mate. Yeah, I've got a, so I've got a pretty simple solution, but it's actually not simple because you need to actually put in the reps in off season team. Teams just need to be fit up. Because Panthers, there's a reason even when they have possession against them, have only led him one try in two games. That's it. Because they're super fit. Which means that when you're super fit, you can make decisions under fatigue better because you don't get as fatigued quickly or as heavily fatigued. It means you can get back your 10 meters more consistently because you're not fatigued and you don't necessarily have to keep trying to illegally slow down the ruck. Therefore you cause the first infringement and then it just compounds, you're on the back foot. Not to say that they're perfect, they're far from perfect, but I think that their, their fitness levels are showing a way to mitigate giving away so many six agains. But by all these ruck infringements, which are the crux of the six again, therefore the momentum isn't going over heavily to one scene. You can then dictate the terms of how you're playing the football, how the game's been played. Because yeah, you're not giving away these leg ups to opposition teams. The teams that aren't as fit and you can really tell who they are, are giving away thousand six agains and they're playing, they're getting scores, cricket scores put on them and that they then don't have them the defensive resolve or the scramble, you know, they miss a tackle, whatever, but they don't have the scramble to pick up the slack and they're just playing back, back, footy, down, out. But also like what you said, Toddy, about when it comes to kicking. Yeah, just let the, let the guy catch it and then the sideline is an extra defender. I think that's a smart ploy. Moving on, guys, the bear attractions. So this is where we're going to give our tips and we're going to go through our fantasy how we're going and if we're going atrociously, just want to plug that Mark guy. Western Reds, Penrith Panthers legend will be joining us in the coming weeks, likely early April. And also wanted to make sure that I plug all our previous episodes with guests such as John Saxon, Don McKinnon, Mark Graham, Peter Cummins, Matt Fuller and Greg Florimo. If you hadn't had a chance to watch or listen to these episodes yet, make sure you go to all good streaming outlet media platforms and have a listen. There is some really good gems and good chats and discussions there with some real genuine legends of the game. Toddy, your time to shine. Tips, mate, tips. [00:52:52] Speaker E: I don't know about my time to shine. I think I've got, I've got five out of eight the last two weeks. So anyway. But I don't know, I might, I might tip someone tonight. I'm just giving you the heads up. I might tip someone tonight, but it might be different by the weekend. Okay. [00:53:13] Speaker D: Once you say it's locked in, give it here with a tip, mate. [00:53:17] Speaker E: Hey, you changed one on the weekend, didn't you, and got it up. [00:53:26] Speaker D: Well, we have to, we have to go back. We have to go back through the footage and confirm that, man. [00:53:33] Speaker E: Okay, radio. First up, we've got for the team I name first to be the home team. So you got Raiders. Bulldogs. [00:53:41] Speaker C: I'm going Bulldogs. [00:53:42] Speaker D: You go first, Roshi. [00:53:43] Speaker C: Bulldogs. [00:53:44] Speaker D: Bulldogs. Yeah, probably dogs. Raiders have had a couple of hard games, eh? So probably dogs. [00:53:53] Speaker C: Yep, [00:53:56] Speaker D: the milk. [00:53:58] Speaker E: That's me. That's my Viking clap. I'm going for the Raiders at home. [00:54:01] Speaker C: Oh, okay. [00:54:06] Speaker E: My next game, Roosters. Panthers. [00:54:10] Speaker C: I'm going Panthers. Just because they've been so good. So why not? [00:54:16] Speaker D: If I could do the Panther raw that you hear on their games, I would. Panthers all the way. I think their, their defense is just too good. Martin. [00:54:27] Speaker E: Yeah, we're playing Martin back. I'm going to go Panthers. But Rooster, I think Rooster's got a few players back too. Like as you said, the hooker, he's. He's back and. Yeah, yeah, that's it. Robson. Yeah, but I'm. I'm going Panthers. Okay, next Game Storm. Broncos. [00:54:49] Speaker C: My heart is going with the Broncos, but in reality, for the tipping, I'm going Storm. Unfortunate. [00:54:58] Speaker D: This game can. Can either be like a crazy game where Broncos somehow pull it out and no one's expecting fingers crossed, or. Or it could be a legitimate bloodbath and they could get 50 put on them and that's it for their season. They're not going to win it. I'm gonna go Storm. It's in Melbourne. There's not. I can't see Craig Bellamy getting. Making inside complacent, getting complacency in this game. [00:55:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:55:25] Speaker D: No way. [00:55:25] Speaker E: Yeah. [00:55:26] Speaker D: That's the grand final rematch as well. [00:55:28] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:55:28] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm going for the Storm as well. Of course, it's at home. And also as we touch on a six again rule, no one's been exploiting that better than Harry Grant. So. Yeah, so I'll definitely be going to Storm. [00:55:42] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:55:43] Speaker E: And the Broncos have been struggling with six again. Like, that's how power came back against him, like. Yeah. Been all over the shop in general. Moving on, moving on. Okay, let me look. Okay. This is a tough one. Knights. Warriors. That's at, you know, in Newcastle. [00:56:05] Speaker C: So I'm going Warriors for that. [00:56:11] Speaker D: Yeah. No Ponga, no Brown, but no Brown. Sharp comes back. Sharpie comes back. Hunt's not a bad fullback, but he's not a bonger. Warriors are missing. Cnk. Chk. Sorry. Ncnk. But they got two of picky and they've got a. A young fella making his debut in. In five, eight. I'm gonna go warriors, mate. Yeah, I just think they're playing too [00:56:39] Speaker E: well at the moment. [00:56:41] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:56:41] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go. Worries as well. The nights have got half a salary cap on the sideline. So I'll go Warriors. Then you got Sharks and Dolphins at Shark Park. [00:56:57] Speaker C: I'm going Sharks. Even though they didn't do too well, I'm still gonna say Sharks because it's a home game for them. [00:57:05] Speaker D: Yeah. I gotta agree with Roger. I think just because. Because it's at Shark Park. And the way the Sharks didn't play bad last week against the Panthers, they just. They weren't on that level. But the Dolphins have been bit hot and cold. Sharks in the ocean cup, mate. [00:57:21] Speaker E: Yeah, I'm gonna go Sharks as well. Dolphins. I think they're still a few weeks away from getting a few players back. They gotta stop giving these starts away, like some teams you can't run down. Sharks at Shark park will be tough. Kurt Donahue's still Out. Yeah, Molo's still out, so. Yeah, I'll go Sharks on that one. [00:57:54] Speaker C: Yep. Next one. [00:57:56] Speaker E: Yep, Next one. Okay. Rabidos, Tigers. [00:58:00] Speaker C: I'm going Tigers with this one. So [00:58:09] Speaker D: I think I'm gonna go south because I think Wayne Bennett's going to be grumpy that after AJ that whole moment, they. They got a bit complacent and they. And they sort of. Because they were. They were in control of that game up until that time, I think. [00:58:26] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:58:26] Speaker D: Now that that's over, I think south are going to get to business. Yeah. [00:58:30] Speaker E: Yeah, I think, you know, like having the fans all run on the field now that just probably get ruined their momentum actually, like when the game stops. So, you know, like, I think it worked against them, so. Yeah, but I'm going rabbit holes. I just think they've got that experience. But, you know, this might be a game I'll change on closer to the weekend, who knows? [00:58:53] Speaker C: No, you can't change. [00:58:55] Speaker E: I will say. We'll say. Okay, Eels and Dragons. [00:59:00] Speaker C: I'm going Eels just because they beat the Broncos last week. I think they're pretty good. So at the moment they're doing pretty well. [00:59:07] Speaker D: Oh, geez, man. I. I think Eels and I'm gonna go Eels. But it wouldn't surprise me if Dragons actually get up because they haven't been bad in their losses. I know they got pumped at the end last week, but that was because sewer just carved them up for like 10 minutes. [00:59:24] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:59:25] Speaker D: That's why they got. You know what I mean? That was. That was the difference. They were competitive up until that point. So Eels, but not convincingly. [00:59:33] Speaker E: Okay, yeah, I'm gonna go Eels. Home ground advantage and they're in a bit of form. Dragons haven't impressed recently. So, yeah, I'll go Eels and battle for the wooden spoon. The Cowboys and the Titans. [00:59:49] Speaker C: I'm going Cowboys with this one because they're both on the same level field, in my opinion. So I'm just going Cowboys. [00:59:58] Speaker D: I. I'm gonna go Titans because Jaden Campbell's back. He hasn't been named to start half, but he is in the extended bench. I expect him to start Titans. Last week. The only reason they lost, I think, is because they've. They haven't been in that position with that lead to. To actually play out the game because they're being perennial losers. I think if they had a bit more of a winning culture, they would have iced that game nine times out of 10 last week. You know what I mean, Toddy? So I think with JC Back Cowboys don't look like they're playing for Payton anymore. Geez. If they lose this though, the Cowboys, like Payton's pretty much gone. I would say. [01:00:42] Speaker E: Yeah, you'd think he's gone. If that happens. Yeah, I'm gonna go. I've tipped Titans, they, they have impressed me in the opening two rounds. Sorry, not a game against the Sharks. A game before. [01:00:58] Speaker D: I was gonna say, geez, yeah. [01:01:02] Speaker E: The week before against, I think it was the Dolphins in the challenge. You know, in the preseason challenge. I impressed me and. Yeah. And then again on the weekend, even though the Dolphins came back from 14 nil down. That's what the Dolphins do, that's what they're renowned for. But doesn't matter. You could be like last season in the finals, I'm pretty sure about down 24 nil and they nearly come back and won. It was just that they'd scored too much in the first half. But now I'm gonna go Titans, Cowboys, Reuben Cotter's back. But they just, I don't know, just haven't done anything. They're struggling. And the last one I'm going to go over by against. [01:01:49] Speaker D: Yeah, I was singing the same thing, man. You know, Manly. Manly will struggle to open a postcard at the moment and the post. And the postcard's not in a letter. So that's how bad they go [01:02:03] Speaker E: weekend. I couldn't believe it. [01:02:04] Speaker D: I went, yeah, yeah, yeah. We actually had a, we had had a viewer that said he's a die hard Manly fan which, you know, all listeners from all walks of life can. Can listen to us does no matter if they support a potato of a team. But he said we can take SA and look, Brooks, yeah, we'll take Saab because good coaching. There's a good athlete there. Luke Brooks. We need someone to peel. Well, we need someone to cut up the oranges, mate, and get the gear ready. Yeah, get the gear ready, mate. [01:02:39] Speaker E: Yeah, he's lined up. Yeah. [01:02:41] Speaker D: Yeah. Guys, I've noticed that the NRL WA web page has started previewing its teams for the 2026 season. I think they've done a couple clubs already, maybe three clubs. So all your listeners out there, go to www.nrlwa.com and. And have a browse. It's. It's drawers out. And yeah, they go through a bit of a spiel on each team. They'll be released incrementally over the next couple of weeks. Another thing is fantasy. My fantasy got carved up because Pongo went, went off. I was heading towards a thousand Points. Points. And I was leading and I was showboating and I was gloating against the guy I was playing with and then. Yeah, and then ponga happened and I didn't get many more points after that and the guy ended up beating me, actually. So I'm not doing too bad, but I could be doing better. I've done a few trades which I'll speak about in the Fantasy podcast during a short next coming days about what I've done. Toddy, have you been checking your NRL fantasy? [01:03:51] Speaker E: I haven't. I'm. I'm hopeless at fantasy. I'm going to get. I need to get a bit of help. I think I'm going to hit my sons up, I think. Give me a. Yeah, give me a hand with, you know, like. [01:04:01] Speaker D: Or watch the podcast. Watch the podcast, because the podcast. Yeah, yeah, yeah. [01:04:06] Speaker E: I'm all over everything else, but I'm just not good at fantasy. Hey, you know, like. But I'll have to step up and get involved more, I think. [01:04:18] Speaker D: No. Awesome. Rojani to lead us out. Talk us about where you can find the Barefax. Talk us about the cheerleading and the closing notes. [01:04:31] Speaker C: Yes. So on our bearfax website, we have also put the website link to the Rubies, the cheer company. So auditions are still. We're still looking for people. I've got about half the amount of people that I do want at the moment, which is great and I'm so happy. Everyone is really excited. As I mentioned, we did get our uniforms in, which is amazing. They are in a box right next to me actually right now. So we've got our pom poms, we've got some bows, we've got training outfits and media day outfits. [01:05:04] Speaker E: I thought you'd be wearing it tonight, Rosny. [01:05:07] Speaker C: No, I've got to keep that a secret. No, no, not yet. Not yet. But you will see it. I will be posting some content in it. Hopefully I look alright in it too. But the first day of auditions is 13 April, coming up in a little bit, so I do hope to see a few of you there. I already have some girls that are really, really happy to be joining, so I'm really happy about that. I've also extended the audition day to the 25th of May, which is the more formal dance day. But I'm also going to count it as audition day in case people can't make it to the 13th of April all the way for those three weeks. Yeah, not too much on that. It's going really well. It's It's a steady build, but it's really exciting. So, yeah, so we're going to keep. Keep you guys updated on that next week's podcast as well to see how everything's going. [01:06:01] Speaker D: Awesome. Awesome. And just a special thanks to all the viewers and to the wonderful wizard of Oz behind the screen, Paul, for making all this magic happen. And yes, if you guys out there, listeners want to shout me a coffee, Toddy a coffee or Roshni many coffees, because they're going to need all the coffee to keep doing all that cheerleading, then please do. And yeah, you can find the barefax on all good social media streaming services. Give us a listen and go to Bears. [01:06:39] Speaker E: Yeah, and I'd like to also mention the. I'd like to give a plug to the Perth Bear supporters Facebook page as well. Like, they're at 21,000. Nearly. Nearly 21.9 thousand followers on that page. And both our pages work in the podcast works in tandem with that page and vice versa. And yeah, if you need any updating in it, just get on that page because we cover everything on that and then we bring it onto the show the following week as well. So. [01:07:12] Speaker C: And we just crossed a thousand followers on our Facebook page, so a thousand fact fans are there, which is amazing. [01:07:22] Speaker D: Yeah. [01:07:23] Speaker C: So thank you guys for tuning in. Thank you, Johnny and Todd, for your time again. And it's been a very, very fun Tuesday night. And I'll see you next Tuesday. [01:07:34] Speaker E: Go to bed. Hey, guys. [01:07:38] Speaker C: See, Yes.
