[00:05:50] Speaker B: Facts Hey Grizzlies, welcome back to the Bear Facts. And tonight we are celebrating because we've officially cracked the 19,000 views on YouTube. That's right, 19,000 people have willingly watched this circus, which honestly raises more questions than answers, but we'll take it. Producer Paul's kicking back tonight, sipping wine and demolishing cheese and crackers, while Toddy and Johnny are just plain old crackers. Paul's also been sending out footballs to the boys. Johnny's already claimed he's like it's a family heirloom.
Todd's probably trying to autograph his own. And Rosney will get her balls as soon as we lock in a day for the video shoot. She's already buzzing anyway because the Ruby's cheerleaders trials kick off this month and she's counting down like it's Christmas. Big energy, big laughs and big Bears vibes coming your way. Let's get into it. Here's Roggie.
[00:06:40] Speaker C: Thank you, Paul. So welcome back everybody. What an interesting week this has been.
Even though I've seen so many injuries on the field. I just hope everyone's okay and everyone can get back playing rugby within a few weeks, even though some are six to eight weeks. Don't forget to join our socials. All the barefax socials. Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, everything.
Follow mine as well, just so you can keep up to date with everything.
And the Ruby's cheerleading squad as well.
Auditions are next week actually for the rubies, so More on that later.
The best comments during this live comments and or questions will get a free rugby ball, the large size and the small size sent to them if it's the best question we get.
So let's get started and chat with Johnny.
Hey, Johnny, how are you doing?
[00:07:37] Speaker D: Not too bad. Rosini, how are you doing?
[00:07:40] Speaker C: Good. How's the time difference been for you since you guys went back an hour?
[00:07:46] Speaker D: I'm fine. It's toddy that. It's toddy that went back an hour. Yeah, yeah. Queensland, we don't celebrate daylight savings. Apparently our cows can't tell the time.
So.
Yeah, it's a New South Welshman thing.
[00:08:00] Speaker C: All right.
So how did you go with like everything this week? Tips? Just a quick yes or no with your tips.
[00:08:11] Speaker D: Went all right. Yeah. Keen to hear how everyone else went. Yeah, it went okay.
Celebrated Easter, had plenty of chockies and a couple of the teams got chockies.
[00:08:22] Speaker C: Oh, let's get toddy on and then we can start.
So you were the one at the time difference?
[00:08:30] Speaker E: I am and I'm awake this week. I struggled last week. I was near the end. I was. The wheels were falling off. I was nearly done.
Yeah, I'm good this week. Ready to go.
[00:08:44] Speaker C: Any more paper heads? You've got bought suppliers first.
True, true.
You could get more like, I think literally. We'll get you some merch from here since the merch drops the double header next week, this weekend actually.
So yeah, let's get straight. Yeah, yeah, should be good.
[00:09:09] Speaker E: Hey, Johnny boy.
[00:09:12] Speaker D: Toddy, the Barefax. Here we go. Before we get started, I just want to show all our viewers something so special.
This is the Barefax football. It comes in two sizes. The small one and this is the proper rugby league size.
So that's great. So as Roy said, best comments, you'll win one of these footies and we're hoping to get some out in about four or five weeks of magic round as well.
[00:09:45] Speaker C: Yeah.
[00:09:47] Speaker D: Awesome.
[00:09:51] Speaker E: I can't believe Queensland Australia Post got your ball to you before. New South Wales Australia Post. Like seriously?
[00:10:00] Speaker D: Okay, yeah, well, they, they tend to take the gifts from the good looking and give the gifts to the good looking before they get down to the ugly ones. Toddy. So it's just a Queensland thing, mate.
Anyways, mate, I'm sure you'll get yours very soon and then make sure you brandish it and take it.
Yeah.
So getting into it round five, Rosny asked straight off the top tips, how did we all go, Rosni?
[00:10:32] Speaker C: I did very Well, I got six out of my eight.
The only one I didn't get was the Sharks and Warriors and the first one which was Eagles and someone else, I can't remember. Dolphins did it against Dolphins. That's what I didn't get. So I got six out of eight. I was pretty happy with that.
[00:10:51] Speaker D: Cool.
[00:10:52] Speaker C: Tony, how about you?
[00:10:54] Speaker E: Yeah, that was my.
It was my best one of the year so far. Six out of eight. So I'm happy. I'm about to get the pom poms out and hopefully get better. Get better this weekend. So.
[00:11:08] Speaker D: Well, you both beat me. I got. I got five out of eight. I threw the. I rolled the dice with the Titans to beat the Broncos just as a hail Mary and.
Yeah, we won't speak about that. Went nowhere.
So Toddy, tell us about round five.
Easter weekend games were spread over five days. I think it was.
[00:11:35] Speaker C: Yeah,
[00:11:39] Speaker D: yeah. Tell us the results mate about on the NRL and the English Super League.
[00:11:44] Speaker E: Okay, well Manly they probably. To me that was an upset like the old new coach syndrome.
They got up 52 to 18.
The rabbito's got up over doggies 32 to 24. I think there's a few problems out at the Dogs.
Panthers, well they're just motoring along like a locomotive. They got up over for the Fancy Melbourne Storm 50 to 10.
The Cowboys in probably what everyone was saying was like the wooden spoon clash when you take out the Titans. They got up 32 nil over dolphins. So that's a great return to form for them.
The Broncos 26 over Titans 12.
Sharks 36 over Warrior. Yeah. Warriors 22 for Knights 32 over. The road is 12 and the Tigers 22 in a tight one over Ills 20.
[00:12:47] Speaker D: That was a heck of a game.
A couple. A couple of. That was a heck of a game also as far as Bears are concerned.
Obviously Sean Russell got a hia so he's out next week. And then Luke Lau Lily, just an unfortunate accident on Bailey's Simonson. All the best. I hope he, he heals up.
[00:13:11] Speaker E: You think it was a sin bin?
[00:13:15] Speaker D: Look, it was like he got a weight.
Yeah, look, it was foul play at the end of the day and it led to I would say catastrophic injury.
[00:13:26] Speaker E: Yeah, but what are you supposed to do when you're both in the air and you know like.
[00:13:30] Speaker D: No, not wrap your arms around the other guy. I think that's the crux of it.
Well, the moment he wrapped his arms around the other guy.
Simon. Yeah.
[00:13:45] Speaker E: It's a penalty.
[00:13:46] Speaker D: Yeah, not just that, but Simonson's weight also had Lao Lily's weight on top of his weight coming down.
Do you know what I mean? It's like putting on a backpack where you're in midair, so suddenly you've got extra weight. And if he doesn't wrap his arms around, he doesn't fall on the back of Simonson when Simon comes down and the injury doesn't happen. Look, I'm fine with the sim bin. A little bit tough to get a week for that, I think. But it is what it is. All the best assignments.
He'll bounce back just on other performances, mate, what was favorite game, best team performance? Worst game? Worst team performance.
[00:14:26] Speaker E: Okay, best team performance. You can't go past the Panthers at the moment. Like, Manly improved under their new coach, Kieran Foreign. But, you know, Penrith are up against second place, whereas Manly, you're up against a Dolphins team, which. No, it was like they didn't want to play, though. That's the worst game I've seen from a team this year. I think they were terrible.
[00:14:51] Speaker D: Do you think they had their mind on the buy?
Because I got a buy coming up. They were the first game. So basically they get that game over and done with on Thursday. They've got an entire.
Almost two weeks.
[00:15:03] Speaker E: Yeah, that was a flogging. But, you know, like, some of the attempted tackles were just terrible. Like when that second rower dropped the ball, and I think it was Lehigh Hopper White. He ran away with. With it, you know, and he was uncontested. He just virtually. I just watched him run away and that was like. I think that was like a second or third try of a game.
And you sort of think, okay, this isn't looking good for him. And usually the Dolphins come back from a deficit of 20 nil. But, you know, I think when Knowles got sin bin, you know, that took the wind out of their sails a bit. And then you had a penalty for throwing a boot away, which I have not seen something like that even in junior league. Like, I know it's a thrill, but
[00:15:51] Speaker D: James Maloney would have got. Would have got penalized a lot if they blew the whistle.
[00:15:55] Speaker E: Come on.
[00:15:56] Speaker D: He was. He was notorious. I remember once he threw it, like, three seats, three rows into the sideline.
One game.
[00:16:04] Speaker E: That's an Arimba tactic, mate.
[00:16:08] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:16:10] Speaker E: Tactic, that is.
[00:16:12] Speaker D: Yeah, they stunt nine nil.
[00:16:15] Speaker E: Like, there's a nine nil penalty count, you know, at one stage to mainly, like, you know, like, I got a mate who's a mad Manly supporter. He was just saying, oh, it's your Manly hatred coming through, etc. Etc.
And I sort of look, you know, I sort of thought, well, we're manly. Really that good or the Dolphins just really, really atrocious, you know, so I'm not sure.
[00:16:40] Speaker D: Dolphins are pretty bad.
Yeah, I agree with you as far as the best performance.
Panthers are on another level and I know people keep saying, oh, are they peaking too early?
They won 11 in a row in 2021 and they won eight in a row and 17 out of their first eight, 18 games in 2022. It's not like they're doing this in uncharted waters. They've done this before with arguably a less experienced lineups.
They're just on another planet. They're just so clinical. Everything's coming off of them. I love watching them play. I don't care if they win 60 nil every week. I just love watching them play.
And just on a side note, like we're watching something that's probably not going to get emulated for a very, very long time with the Panthers.
Like there's not going to be another team that's going to go on this run for this long. Like the Storm had good years and then they wouldn't make finals the following year. Sorry, they wouldn't make grand finals the following year. They were always top four team, but they never won four in a row. They never made six prelims in a row. Five grand finals.
[00:17:50] Speaker E: And another thing, Johnny, what you could look at is, is the roster of players I've lost over the last four, three to four years. You could make a, you know, that team could probably top 18 for a grand final. Yeah, definitely.
[00:18:04] Speaker D: Yeah.
It's called the Bulldogs, mate.
[00:18:08] Speaker E: Bulldogs, Tigers, you name it. Like.
[00:18:11] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah, yeah. They've definitely provided a lot to the other clubs, mate, the worst team performance as bad as the Dolphins were.
I don't know if the Dragons were worse because they were, they were pretty dead themselves.
[00:18:34] Speaker E: I'll call a draw.
[00:18:37] Speaker D: If those two teams played together this round, it would be a nil all draw after golden point after, after 90 minutes. Or it would be 50 all like, oh, well, it couldn't be 50. Oh, because the Dragons can't score a point.
[00:18:55] Speaker E: Well, all I can say is imagine if Penrith had played either of them this weekend, last weekend. I mean, you know, like I, I
[00:19:02] Speaker D: talked to my mates about this offline and, and I reckon they would have dead set broken records. I really do.
More so against the Dolphins because they still leaked 50 against a seagulls team that just wasn't popping a shot, moving on a couple of Bears players. It's just the same thing as the previous weeks. A lot of them are coming off the bench and stuff but Sorcerer flick pass in that Panthers game. Holy that. That was Benji Marshall from 2005. I was like where the hell did that come from?
He didn't, he wasn't looking. He. But he knew that the guy was coming in on that angle right in the bread basket. Scotty Sorensen and I'm sold if, if I know he was signed potentially as a second rower but yeah, he's out and out mid now. You have to play him in the mids. He's just, he's just so good in the mids. Coming off that and doing that job for 30 odd minutes each game. Just great, great stuff.
Talica was pretty good too. Jeez, he can plug.
Yeah, yeah he is really good.
Up and down game from Lao Lily and speaking of Lao Lily.
Yeah he was speaking of Luke Lal Lily. It's been reported today that his brother Kit Lao Lily who's a mid forward has signed two year deal.
So that's from Code Sports. It hasn't been officially announced yet on the Perth Bears web page I'm thinking they're going to announce that with Mav Gaia potentially together.
Toddy Rosni, I don't know if you guys have seen Kit Lao Lily, cool name by the way.
Thoughts?
[00:20:59] Speaker C: He's a good player.
I think he'll do well in the team. I just, I haven't kept up with him that much but you know, new. It's a new team coming up and they're, they're not being too picky which is good with who they sign but I feel like it's a good start off so far.
[00:21:20] Speaker E: Yeah I like what Perth Perth's trying to do. Like we've eyes Isaac from Malawi, you know they tried to get Tino across, have the brothers together. Tino ended up resigning with Titans with Tyrone Wishart they tried to get his brother in law Reuben Garrick across.
I end up signing the Roosters so you know I think it's good that they try, you know angling the family and connections and that and trying to have family on, you know, play across with them, you know like that sets a good culture when you got family and friends and etc within a club and yeah I, I think idea is good. I think Kit will probably be a depth signing unless there's a few injuries which we don't, you know which I hope we don't get but insane that too. You know, like I hope he progresses through to the top grade in time. So he's only a young guy too, so 21.
[00:22:26] Speaker D: Yeah. It's got plenty of upside. It's more like a Kurt man, sort of mid.
It's got a big motor on him. I think he's going to go really well. I agree with you, Toddy. Getting family together because that's important. People have, you know, moving three and a half, 4,000 kilometers away from where they know into the uncharted as far as, you know, new franchise.
So it's good to have that family dynamic plus happy wife, happy life, partners and all that sort of stuff is important.
I, I expect Chiefs to do something very similar when they start recruiting, start recruiting in pairs. So hats off. And we can't wait until the official News drops on perthpears.com about kit and another person that's been. I think we touched light lightly last week.
It's been in the news or rumors all week. Jamie Humphries. Looks like south cannot keep him due to salary cap pressure from. From signing big pain Haas. Plus they've got a lot of players off contract next year. I think they got like 22. So they've got some big decisions to make. And they've got other halves.
Jonah Glover, Ashton Ward and Jaden Sullivan. Bud Sullivan.
So maybe Humphreys is surplus.
Plus they've got other hookers. Mama Zealous and Cheese.
What do you reckon, Toddy?
With Humphreys?
[00:23:57] Speaker E: Yeah, it depends where they aiming to sort of play him. Like you know, I think Toby Sexton's a man to guide the Bears around next year around the field. As you can see of a Bulldogs issue, they look like a rudderless mess if you ask me.
And yeah, I think Toby Sexton will be the answer there. Guiding the Bears around wherever he partner's Sexton halves or goes to. Hooker. He's got a body of a hooker so you know, he's very stocky and thick built so you know, goal kicker as well, which helps. So I think if I, it, it just depends if they sign and you know, if I get another hooker because Connor Watson was rumored. I think he'll go to the Manly now by the sounds of it. But yeah, you know, like there's just been other rumors around with other players. It just depends, you know it'd be a good pickup.
[00:24:48] Speaker D: But yeah, I'm a big fan of him.
He goes all right at south for all you lovely Western Australians. He will be playing for the South Sydney Rabidos this weekend at the Double header. We'll be plugging the double header a few times through this podcast, so keep an eye on him. He plays number seven for the South Sydney Rabidos.
Good sort, good player gives his all. Hopefully the Bears get it done.
And just to recap a couple of other recent rumors from recent weeks of other players that have been sort of floating around aforementioned Mav Gaia. We expect that to happen or formally be announced any day now.
Arama Howe from the Titans who's been lighting it up.
Jack Cole, who's who is a prodigal Panthers player coming through the system for many years.
He's pretty much their next up. 58 Jonathan Sewer, who's a lightning fast, ever ready reliable backline player from the Dogs. Just can't get a start because they've got plenty of depth. You mentioned Connor Watson, Toddy. I agree healing up I think in Manly and our potential maybe a captain, Maybe Cam McGinnis as well who that might be one that I don't know. There might be like a letter of intent sort of thing depending on how he comes back from his ACL at his age. But yeah, I'm all for him. I'm all for him.
Toddy, you said before who we're potentially looking at hookers in that dynamics.
Going to throw you up a name.
He's been around for a while but he had probably his best game ever, albeit in the Panthers lineup.
Freddie Lussick.
I was super impressed with him and he's off contract and he, he, I think he played. He was the hooker for the warriors right that won the New South Wales cup team last year like almost every game.
Yeah, he's such a. His kicking game out of dummy half was was great. Like he's obviously been training that all set off season and the thing it's not just about this one off game. It's about what Ivan Cleary said coming into the season. He said their hardest trainer and their best trainer that's been hitting all the metrics and he's been beating the fitness test that Dill Edwards has like a mortgage on has been Freddie Lassic. And I'm like talk to this guy. He's played enough.
Yeah, he, he won't care if he's coming as 14 or if he starts or interchanging with you know with, with whoever we put at nine.
Let's just.
[00:27:42] Speaker E: He's, he's only young too. He's like, I think he's like is he like 22 or something like that? He's not that old.
[00:27:50] Speaker D: I'm not sure he's age I know he's other he's. I don't know if he's a younger brother or the older brother out of
[00:27:54] Speaker E: the two last six younger brother of Joey because Joey used to play against my oldest son in the same age as Nico and Connor Watson and that so yeah yeah Joey's you know he's Joey's about 30. What's my boy. I can't even think my boy's age I think yeah around 30. Yeah so I'm pretty sure Freddy be about I don't know if he's older or younger than Bradman probably me too
[00:28:20] Speaker D: probably mid twenties I'd say might be
[00:28:23] Speaker E: over 22 or 24.
Yeah yeah it's funny Johnny I'm glad you brought that up because I was watching the game as well and I was. I don't know we must have the same brain waves or something because I was thinking exactly the same thing I was looking going yeah bad sign he'd be pretty cheap and and he's reliable
[00:28:46] Speaker D: like you know contract and he's off contract and he's only signed for a year and the Panthers have got Jack Cogger that's sort of doing that mid roll and they've got Billy the other Bill Billy Scott who's a prodigal dummy half that's coming through their system so kind of like Billy Phillips is that next sort of ball playing mid Billy Scott's that next hooker coming through the system. It's like get this let's get Lustic before another club on him and we lose him potentially even getting yeah I
[00:29:22] Speaker E: totally agree with you there I. I think he would be a great pickup and I also want to point out with A Arama how from the Titans like the Bears just didn't talk to him after he got those two tries against the Dragons they were talking to him very early in the season before he'd even.
I think before he might have even stepped on if they started round one
[00:29:46] Speaker D: I'm pretty sure yeah that Patson was ahead of him I think for that second race well that that was the word and the reports coming out and. And how sort of jumped him and he played really good in the trials but you're right and whether he's starting second right either he's definitely deserved it but whether that's also something because a way of the Titans keeping him potentially I don't know So I hope we get him. He's been really good. It's been really good.
[00:30:15] Speaker E: Apparently Mal Mal grabbed him didn't he early on in the piece and yeah, sent him over. Did he send him over to England for a year or so?
[00:30:24] Speaker D: That might have been his decision. Just to play with the men.
But either way, like to go.
Yeah, to go to Featherstone and, and, and to do that. Like he could have just, he could have just loaded around and played for Twig.
[00:30:39] Speaker E: Yeah.
[00:30:40] Speaker D: But he, you know, he moved far. He moved away from his comfort zone. Hey, Arama pervs farts away from your comfort zone. And I think he was actually really close to jotting. I think he was actually really close to being locked in. I think it was just they were going to see how the start of the season went and now I don't know. I don't know if he is going to come or not. But I hope he does.
[00:31:03] Speaker E: Yeah, I think he'd be good. Human Sorrow in the second row together.
[00:31:08] Speaker D: Well, I'd have Sorrow in the mids. I wouldn't have him in the second row. I would have either James McDonald or C. Fatalakai in the second row or someone else. So I think what, how Sorrow is doing his age. I think he's better in the mid. You know what I mean? Just, just generate that leg speed. Good. Quick. Play the balls.
Toddy. I've got a little bit of a gripe and I'm not going to waste too many of too much of your time and people's time, but Andrew Webster from the Australian. First and foremost, I like him as a journo and I've historically liked his pieces.
But for the last six months he's put out a few negative pieces against the Perth Bears.
He went, he dwelt deep into this whole Ezra Howe, you know, scouting Titans plays. While he played for. While he was working for the Titans, he was scouting for the Bears and putting together these imaginary rosters and he went on a witch hunt. How got investigated by the nrl. Guess what? Nothing came of it. How was proven innocent and he didn't end up getting a job because of this witch hunt.
Then he said that Meninga wanted out of the Perth Bears. Guess what? Meninga's still there and he's going full steam ahead.
Then he said a few things about our CEO, the awesome Anthony Seg. A few pieces which you know have led to nowhere. And recently he's done a piece about Sharp. David Sharp, our.
Our general manager. Look, I like you, Andrew. I reckon you're one of the better journeys supporter. Johnny, I don't know but check your sources. I know you're more of a.
An Opinion piece journalist these days. You've said yourself you're not a in field, on the field journal anymore. But maybe just check your sources, man. Especially like putting out a piece like this just before the double header. Like, I don't know, like it. It doesn't just hurt the Bears brand a little bit. Maybe it doesn't. I don't know. I don't really care. But like you're trying to get the wa public invested into rugby league and, and pay their. Their time and their money into rugby league and get behind the Bears in the nrl.
These pieces that have no substance or anything substantiated behind them, like they're just not needed. And just check your sources, mate. Anyway, that's. That's all I got to say about that.
[00:33:29] Speaker E: Super League, Johnny?
[00:33:30] Speaker D: Yeah, mate. Go for it.
[00:33:32] Speaker E: Yeah. English Super League results on the weekend. The Leeds Rhinos 24 defeated Bradford Bulls 12.
We had two players in that match.
Our international second round, James McDonald, he scored a try for Leeds Rhinos.
Our Polish prop, Michelaj Odeckski. Is that how you say it, Johnny?
[00:33:56] Speaker D: I think it's. Mikola came off the bench. Sorry, I think his first name's Mikolay. I think that's how he's.
[00:34:04] Speaker E: There we go. And he came off the bench, but he played strongly in the front row.
Harry Newman still hasn't been selected since he was dropped two weeks ago. So that's a eye opener.
Catalan's Dragons, they had their local French derby with Toulouse. They got up 33 to 26.
Toby Sexton, he got a try and four goals. And Isaac first.
I always get this wrong.
Anyway, started a prop and he played well. He did. So it's good to see the boys, you know, kicking goals over there and playing strongly.
The London Broncos didn't play on the weekends.
Luke Smith and Amali Bitigani didn't, you know, have a game this weekend. The Super League is on pause because they go back to the challenge. Catalan's Dragons are still alive in that competition, but Leeds Rhinos are not participating. So.
So that's the English Super League wrapper.
[00:35:11] Speaker D: Awesome, mate. Awesome. Apologies. I hadn't realized we had deviated so far from the results at the top of the segment that we hadn't got him in. I was thinking before, maybe a minute before you said the results was like, did we actually touch on the English Super League? So I'm glad you picked that up, mate.
[00:35:27] Speaker E: Yeah, it's all good. Andrew Webster.
[00:35:30] Speaker D: Yeah, mate. Yeah. Well, you had in your goose another. Another piece that came out this week from the Daily Telegraph was that a couple of our bigger known players have player options for their like sort of final years. So Wishart's got a play option in his fifth year out of a five year contract.
Curran's got it on the third year of a three year contract and Liam Henry's got it for year three and four out of a four year contract.
Hey, this is normal, man. And this is benef. This is beneficial to both the Bears and the player. If, like these are long term contracts, like I said, away from their comfort zones, a lot can happen. So I'm more than happy that these sort of options are there because especially a five year deal like, man, that's a long deal.
So nothing really to add to that. It's just common practice. Some teams don't have them. Practice, yeah. Some of the massive teams don't have them, but most do.
[00:36:32] Speaker E: Yeah. Most clubs they were making out like it was going to be a mass departure after these player options like most clubs have player options. I'd love to like you look at the NRL, who's available for 26 and 27 and. But then again, you don't know who has got player options when you look at the official site, so.
[00:36:52] Speaker D: Exactly. Exactly. Yeah.
So for those that don't know, this weekend is the double header in Perth.
There's still tickets available.
South's play the Raiders, I think, and the Sharks play the Roosters.
So make sure you head down to Optus Stadium.
Yeah, yeah. Bit early.
Roshni's going to be out there. She's going to be filming some content.
I'm pretty sure Paul's going to be out and about too.
Official merchandise, Perth Bears merchandise is going to be available at this double header should be available online around the same time. So check perthbears.com or if you're at the game, there should be a stall.
If you pick up this merchandise, take some snaps. Fine. Roshni, take some snaps with her. Let's get as many photos and videos up on our socials as we can. Send everything in. We want to see it all. And you've been the chance to win some of the Bears facts merchandise which got balls. And we've got a bunch of other stuff that's coming out a Paul's doing an amazing job in the background.
Anything further to add to that, Rosny?
[00:38:13] Speaker C: Oh, public transport is free three hours before the game, during the game and three hours after the game. You just have to show your ticket on the ticket tech app. I think it is.
Do Arrive early as you don't want to arrive just before kickoff. It'll be busy and you won't see kickoff.
Kickoff is at 1pm, I'm quite sure. So maybe arrive around 11:30, 12 and yeah, have a fun time. It should be great. I know that the, the viewing in Optus is a little different than the viewing at hbf. It's a more smaller cutout since Optus is a huge stadium, but it should be good overall. Yeah. If you see us, we are in section 118, so keep an eye out and yeah, just have a great time. If you fly over or if you're just in Perth going to the game.
[00:39:06] Speaker D: Toddy and I are absolutely jealous and we hope you guys have the.
[00:39:10] Speaker E: Very jealous.
Yeah, and I went to the double header in two years ago, back in, well, three years ago now, back in 23 when it was a Dolphins against the Sharks and. Yeah, Dolphins against Knights and Sharks and it's Rabbit O's and reviewing. Like people say, why hold it at Optus? You know, it's a AFL field cricket ground, you know, but I didn't notice it being that far. Didn't even feel that far away from the action, to tell you the truth. So, you know, like hbf, you are sitting on them virtually, which is a great viewing thing. But, but Optus, I didn't think it was that bad. I thought, you know, I enjoyed my day there and you know.
[00:39:52] Speaker C: Yeah, and you went to Optus during Origin as well, don't you?
[00:39:57] Speaker E: Yeah, I went for a state of origin last season. Yeah, that's right. And besides the range.
Yeah, that was fine. Again, you know, like I think, yeah, there's not really many bad seats, to tell you the truth. At Optus you could see it, you know, you could see it from virtually anywhere. Like I did go a week later after that double header to the local wa AFL rivalry between, what is it, the Dockers and West Coast Eagles. And I was up pretty high and I didn't like it up there to have to, to admit, you know, it's too far away from the action.
[00:40:28] Speaker C: Yeah, no, yeah, well, yeah, this is pretty good.
[00:40:34] Speaker E: You're very lucky.
[00:40:36] Speaker C: Thank you.
[00:40:38] Speaker D: A big thing that's scheduled to be unveiled tomorrow is the official Bears Tracks Rugby League Academy.
This is for local pathway talent juniors between the ages of the 15 and 18, I think. Toddy.
So this is it, this is the start. This is, this is what the investment to get all the streamlining, best of the juniors to come through this pathway and these structures. This is the, this Is the start of it a feed into the Perth bears?
Apparently there's 20 odd local kids that have been chosen for this first crop.
Congratulations to all the, the. The players and their families. This is awesome. It's. It's. It's history making and we, we're excited to go on the journey with you all on your rugby league journey and we can't wait what, where, where you end up and what happens and hopefully you know, if a few of you end up donning the red and black in the NRL in the not too distant future. We're all cheering and we're all championing for you and best of luck to all the players that have been selected. You have, you have our full support and we're cheering for you.
Yes.
Toddy, I was thinking on the weekend that there is a team that also at the moment doesn't have big superstars on the field. They do have big superstars but they're injured off the field and they keep winning and they keep beating big teams and that is the Newcastle Knights. And I thought wow, if the Bears can play with their roster like this Knights can, that'll have similarish players you would think, you know, like it would be, it is going to be quite similar.
I reckon that's, that's. That's something we can sort of, you know, hope for. Hey, like what do you think of the Knights and how they're going with. With you know, almost $3 million of talent on the sideline at the moment. And is this a team the way they're playing right now that you hope the Bears can aspire to be sort of similar next year?
[00:42:45] Speaker E: Yeah, well, you know, I know a few of the Knights players and they've done really well. Like it's amazing what a change a coach can do to a team.
And you know, Justin Holbrook's done very well. Got him, you know, all firing both Dylan Brown and Calum Ponga out injured at the moment. Brad and Best has just joined him I think for, for four weeks or so.
And yeah, but players like Fletcher Sharp, he's just you know like he, he's still got his knee injury. You can tell it's bothering him. But he just cut loose Fletcher Hunt at the back.
He's been, you know. Is it Fletcher Hunt?
[00:43:28] Speaker D: Yeah, it is him. And they all got mullets over there in that Newcastle,
[00:43:35] Speaker E: that Dixon park beach, mate. It makes them get their mullets I think. You know. And Jacob Safety, he's gone to another level like you know, leading them around the park, you know, Phoenix, Crossland, he's just, you know, Central Coast Boys, mate, it just, they just carving it. They're going well, you know, like it's good to see.
[00:43:55] Speaker D: And Harrison Graham, who's only on a development deal at the moment, down at night, he was the first Dolphins NRL player ever signed. He. He was, he was the first one. And geez, if he's only on a development deal again, he's another one. Like if he's doing this. Tell you what about these. Look at him.
[00:44:15] Speaker E: The Dolphins would be dirty letting him go after, you know, Jeremy Marshall, King. Heard he's hurt himself and he's been out and they've had to get, you know, ploughing it hooker where he's not really a hooker, he's like a lock.
[00:44:31] Speaker D: Yeah.
Was also out as well who was also injured.
[00:44:36] Speaker E: And Brad Snyder, you know, like he's badly out of form. But they must be looking at Harrison thinking how did we let you go? Like he's been killing it, you know, like.
[00:44:51] Speaker D: Awesome. And I agree with you, mate.
Cub watch, mate.
[00:44:54] Speaker E: Yeah, I was a Bulldog. There's a message from Snowy Craig Acker, she's one of the boys from Wong. Yeah, I used to be a Bulldog supporter but I just. I gave up on him around me, you know, 90s I think, you know or just my uncle used to train him. He came from Western Suburbs from the Bulldogs of Terry Lamb and yeah, I couldn't, you know, I couldn't go for him anymore after that. I getting too. It was just change of things and I. I remember once me and me mate, we went Belmore watching a North's Canterbury game and Steve Hanson called us into the dressing sheds and it was just the best time, you know, like it was so good.
So yeah, that was good. So yeah, I was, yeah I was a doggy supporter back. Had a few changes and then finally saw the light.
[00:45:43] Speaker D: So yeah, that's good mate. Good stuff. You're now in red and black and proud.
[00:45:51] Speaker E: Red and black. They're going back.
[00:45:54] Speaker D: I like that one, mate. Tell us about the. The cup watch. I know, I know the juniors got, you know, wasn't the greatest week but how the juniors go. And how did the mighty Bears go against our rivals?
[00:46:08] Speaker E: Oh yeah, well that was the last weekend for us in the juniors. Unfortunately the Bears are out in straight sets. You know in the. How in all the junior games in the Harold Mets we went down every night to 28 six in the SG Ball. We went down to the nights 38 four in the girls. Lisa Fiola which is under 17, she went down to the nights 34 to four. And in Natasha go there's a big loss unfortunately in the 19 girls 62 6.
So yeah that was unfortunate there but you know they got to run out on the field represent the Bears. It'll only hold him in good stead for future years, you know. So you know coming up against teams like the Knights who are you know strong in a lot of grades, Penrith etc so well only improve in the New South Wales Cup. We came up against the arch enemy Manly. I watched this game on Bar TV.
We got up 26 to 18 but they Manly got the first try and then we kicked ahead.
No one could kick goals for the first. Like the Manly goal kicker was struggling, we were struggling and even we haven't had one dislodge which went over by from what I saw one of the North Sydney sites. But yeah, then the Bears sort of kicked away and then Manly came back and then Kieran Heyman kicked the goal from near halfway to give him a 20 to 18 lead. And then the Bears scored in the last few minutes to wrap it up. 26 18.
The Bears again like Manly side looked huge.
Like just the NRL influence dropping back and that. But the Bears they handled him like that's out of disadvantage this year because the team may name on Tuesday nights is the team that they will have for the rest of the se. You know like for the rest of the week virtually injuries. Whereas most of the other teams when the NRL squads name their teams then the players that don't make the 19 final 19, the what is it, 30 man squads they have, you know the 11 players that drop back if there's no injuries are all NRL players. So you know, when you think of that they're all NRL contracted players coming up against the North Sydney just contracted players because we don't have an NRL team in 26. It's a great effort from the New South Wales cup boys. In my opinion in the Queensland competition there was Easter weekend. So Queenslanders are all you know having a holiday up there.
Last Thursday night there was a wet weather round from round one from the Malverninga under 19. The Tigers unfortunately went down to the tweet seagulls 26 to 12. So that was the only action Queensland saw in the weekend in the local competitions.
This week's games, North Sydney Bears will play their first game at North Sydney Oval in 2026. That'll be up against Canberra Raiders. So that'll be a good game.
Then the Brisbane Tigers they are at home also they play the Papua New Guinea Hunters and then in the Malminingo under 19s, they're in round eight. I think it's their last competition round. Possibly they come against Western Clydesdales and the Harvey Norman under 19's girls grand final. The Tigers will play the Tweed Magpies.
So that's sensational. Halfway wrap up?
[00:49:54] Speaker D: Well almost. Almost.
The NRWA kick off this.
Yeah, they kick off on Friday. So all the games are on Friday on the 10th.
Do you want to tell us the games and do you want us to. Just give us a quick tip. Who you think is going to win
[00:50:13] Speaker E: out of these four giants against the North Beach Seagulls?
I like the Jindal Up Giants. I got a soft spot for them but I think North Beach Seagulls will win that. Then you got South Perth Lions up against one of the new fellas, the Kalamanda Bulldogs. I think South Perth Lions are in last year's grand final.
I think they've got a few new signings this year so I think they'll do well. Then you got the defending premiers and Willagy Bears up against Fremantle Roosters. This will probably be the game of a round actually. Fremantle been up ever last three or four grand finals in WA competition and Willigi Bears won it last season in their first season back after seven years in the wilderness.
And then the last game you've got the Rockingham Sharks up against Quinn Quinara Titans. I'm not really sure how to say that. Sorry but they're one of the new boys and the block as well and another one of the new boys, Yellen Brook Rabbit Rabbits, they got to buy this weekend so yeah they've got the. Usually they stop the competition when there's like an NRL game in town but yeah, we were talking to Johnny Saxon a few weeks ago and he's. They're playing them on Friday night so it'll be good.
[00:51:34] Speaker D: Fantastic. Fantastic. Thanks for that toddy.
Plenty to look forward to for the Perth Bears Cubs Pathways and reserves and juniors. Plenty of footy. Make sure you get out to those NRLWA games if you're local to those areas and if you. Even if you're. Not. I know fuel's a little bit dearer right now but if you can make it out go ahead and support those clubs. It's always a good spectacle.
This segues pretty nicely into the bare pit trivia.
We've been sort of reminiscent going down memory memory lane last few years but this time I thought let's think Ahead, let's think into the future.
I'm going to keep it short and sweet tidy.
20:27 the Perth Bears NRL team kicks off.
What year do you want to see a Perth Bears Perth based Jersey flag team and a Perth Bears NRL W
[00:52:31] Speaker E: team come in pursuit of a better Johnny? Like you know the more we hold off the more talent's going to go elsewhere. They, you know I think the Perth Bears in the NRL got to strike hot while. You know strike while the iron's hot as they say.
I can't see it. You know there's. We haven't got jersey flag in North Sydney Bears at the moment.
Is there equivalent in the Queensland competition up there Johnny? At the moment?
[00:52:59] Speaker D: Yes, yes. That tournament that I.
I've alluded to a few times. A few times called the NRL queue which, which actually kicked off this weekend. Gone.
Yeah but that's not the Queensland cup teams. That's the actual proper NRL teams with their best under 20 Queensland cup players donning the NRL jersey and badges.
Does that make sense?
[00:53:23] Speaker E: But yeah I think. And as for the NRLW women's team, we only have to look who's running around at the moment. Like you got was the two sisters with a Parramatta Ills. The Cherrington sisters, Kennedy and Reuben Kennedy. She'd be a character to have on board and you know I think assists similar nature. You know like they're just funny people. They are Shanice Parker, she's with the Newcastle Knights. She's another local running around.
And then also not at North Sydney this year in in our Leicester Fiola we had actually had four girls in at least Fiola and Natasha G. We had Palace Co Coya I think it is she was in Elisa Fiola under 17s and in our Tasha G under 19s we had Talia. You'll have to excuse me for some of her pronunciations. They're pretty hard. Yulag Bell, Van Tiara Thompson and Leone Jane User.
So there's like four girls that were already that had come through in the North Sydney system this year and and we haven't even got Perth Bears yet like you know that kicks off next season so that's a good start having you know four of the girls come across and experience what that competition's like. And also in this weekend's Under 17's Harvey Norman grand final between the Burly Bears and the Townsville Blackhawks there's two sisters from a Willagy Bears.
They're playing for Burley Bears. Yep. Coincidence. And yeah the fullback Isabella Pryor and Amelia Pryor who plays on the wing. They're two local WA girls as I said from Willagy and yeah, hopefully they get spoilers on in their grand final on Saturday. So fingers crossed.
[00:55:18] Speaker D: Best of luck to all the WA based or not based but local rugby league players that are playing throughout all those competitions.
Jersey flag. I'd like to see a team get up at least by 20, 2030-2030-2029-2030 and NRLW.
Yeah, around the same time. There's a few other NRL teams, established NRL teams that haven't got an NRLW side up yet that probably need to. Panthers not having ones. Crazy. But I guess it's because of their stadium.
There's a couple other teams but yeah, if we can aim for the fourth year which is 2030 to have these sides up and running then that would be really good.
Really good.
[00:56:05] Speaker E: Johnny. They've got a good, they've got a good platform as well because the Bears have. The North Sydney Bears they've got the girls competitions in Tasha G, Lisa F.
The Brisbane Tigers, they've got it in Harvey Norman 17s and 9s and they also got it in the, in the BMD competition which I won last season.
[00:56:29] Speaker D: Yeah, yeah.
[00:56:30] Speaker E: So there's a very strong Y's in W.
Sorry, you got.
[00:56:36] Speaker D: I was gonna say it gives the tracks academy enough time to sort of refine itself from its inception tomorrow to a couple of years to really understand how he wants to operate and fine tune and those intricacies that you know all sort of pathways get year on year to get better and more streamlined and more efficient. So I think by the fourth year like they really know what it wants to look like and operate. So I think it, I think it sort of lines up really well with all the players you've mentioned being a little bit more mature in a couple of years and the pathways and all these other grades like Lisa Viola, Tasha gale, Harvey Norman under 17s and under 19s. It, you know these plays will be early 20s by that stage. So it bodes really well for the NRLW Bears team, the local WA team
[00:57:34] Speaker E: also they, they have the girls in strongly in the reps as well. Like they've had them in the CAS competitions over the years in different age groups. And yeah, WA are right behind the women's game. So it's good to see.
[00:57:52] Speaker D: Yeah mate, I agree.
Segment 5 Mates stand aside.
Teamless Tuesdays came out today.
Bunch of Bears players playing a bunch out. We said at the top of the show. Russell's out. Hia la, Lily's out suspension.
Toddy, can you run us through the games this week? And which games are you looking forward to the most?
[00:58:17] Speaker E: Okay, let me have a look this way again.
Okay. Dogs. Panthers. Well I was, you know, on paper the Dogs look good even with Stephen Crichton out. So you know, I still have to go Panthers there. You'd be mad not to Manly Dragons. This will be a test for Manly, believe it or not because the Dragons tend to upset teams at times, you know, when other teams have just got a bit of a role. I'm tipping Manly but I wouldn't be.
[00:58:48] Speaker D: Yeah, I was gonna say we'll save our tips for later. We'll just go through the game and then.
[00:58:52] Speaker E: Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised to see, you know the Dragons give them a bit of a go Broncos Cowboys is always interesting game. So yeah then you've got the double header in Perth.
You got Souths in the South's in Canberra and you got the Sharkies and the Roosters.
Storm warriors would be an interesting game as well. Warriors always like playing the Storm.
And you've got Parramatta and the Titans.
Parramatta of yeah they've been hit by a few injuries and whatnot so you know they've got a few players they've had to replace this week and then probably close to the game of around possibly a couple of them saying this Tigerless Tigers and Newcastle Knights.
[00:59:39] Speaker D: So yeah that'll be a cracker of a game. And once again double header this weekend in Perth. Make sure you get out to it that that'll be. That's a standout Cowboys Broncos will be a standard. Although the Broncos are pretty depleted for this game which is a shame.
The Cowboys can probably really sneak in there and I'm right. I agree with you Toddy. Tigers and Knights looks like a really interesting game on a Sunday rv, a Campbelltown.
Who knows how that's gonna go. I'll be interesting to see our tips very shortly.
Just wanted to go to the bare necessities. This is where we discuss rules and interpretations and plays and everything more intricate and more technical around the game. This week I wanted to talk about the disruptor rule.
So for those that don't know disruptors, when you go up challenging for a kick bomb, you're going to catch it but you're not actually catching it, you're just disrupting the person that is capturing it.
Previous years it was like you jump up, you don't put your hands up or you not even looking at the balls. Pretty cut clear.
This year they decided to put a New interpretation. Whereas if you got two arms and you're looking at the ball, then clearly you're going for the ball. But even if you're looking at the ball and you've only got one arm, and that's technically a disruptor, so even if you put up one arm to tap your ball back so a guy can catch it from behind you and, you know, sweep, whatever, that's. Now disruptor. I don't like that. I reckon that's silly. And I. I would go. I would even go as far as saying if this rule wasn't in. There's a world where someone like Lao Lily actually goes for that ball, that the whole Bailey Simonson thing happens with one arm and not two arms. The problem is when you go up with two arms and you know you're not going to get the ball, natural instinct is to then try and grab the player that has caught the ball. You know what I mean? Like, even if they're in the air, and I think with tackles, yeah, and I think we're seeing a lot more minute tackles because. And I think this rule.
I think this rule plays a part in it. So what do you reckon, Toddy? Should we just abandon this two arms versus one arm? Like, keep the disruptive, but just abandon this whole.
You know what I mean?
[01:02:02] Speaker E: Like, you know, like a player is gonna jump with one arm and try and flick it back. As you've said, Johnny, they're all doing it at the moment. You know, like, nine times out of 10, it pays off for them. But, you know, having two arms as opposed to one arm, you know, I. I would agree if it was an arm compared to no arms, but having one arm or two arms or, you know, like, I think that's ridiculous. Like, you know, as long as they're looking at the ball and they're not flying through and just doing a shepherd or whatever you want to call it, you know, obstruction sort of in the way.
I sort of think, yeah, we'll let it go, you know, because they've got to flick it back. You know, sometimes you lose balance in the air. You know, like, not everyone's like Billy Slater. Well, I used to think Billy Slater was like a ninja and he could kick out and everything. But, you know, like, you know, once you're in the air, you're in the air. Like, you must be pretty good if you can maneuver your body when you're in the air.
[01:03:07] Speaker D: So 100.
No, I agree with you, mate. Yeah, I think, yeah, two arms, one arm. Who cares if you're going for the ball and if you're trying to like tap it back, like it's still legal. Like it's. You know what I mean? Like someone throws a pass and it goes over your head and you can't catch it, but then you, you jump to flick it back to you so you don't lose the ball and he goes to, you know, one of your players behind. That's not. Do you know what I mean? Like that's, that's okay. So.
Exactly intercepts at the moment, they're just
[01:03:41] Speaker E: blocking them, hitting them in the air, regathering, off they go.
[01:03:45] Speaker D: Yeah, exactly like. I don't know. It's a silly rule. Just, just I. I like to disruptor on principle. I just don't like this too. On versus one arm. They didn't need to change that. And I'm sure there's going to be more rules that we have gripes with on this segment. The bare necessities as we move forward.
Let's bring Roshni back.
This is the bear attractions. This is our last segment. We'll kick off with the tippings off the top. So we've gone through our games.
Rosini, who your tips I can see there. Tell us your teams.
[01:04:19] Speaker C: I've got the Panthers against the Bulldogs. I'm gonna go Panthers.
They've just been winning everything.
Then I got Eagles, Broncos, Rabidos, Sharks, Warriors, Eels and then the Tigers just because they've been all doing really well.
And yeah, I just think the Sharks though surprised me. So I'll just go Sharks this week because of that.
[01:04:45] Speaker D: What. What about the Warriors? I see you've got the Warriors. They're playing Melbourne. In Melbourne. Both. Both are coming off a few losses. Is there any science why you went for the Warriors? Is there something, you know, that we don't know?
[01:04:57] Speaker C: Oh, maybe. No, I'm just going warriors because right now the Storm is just looking really, really not really good. And even though they were going against the Panthers, a 5010 is not what I see the Storm doing. Maybe a 5040 would be a normal storm and also the Storm. Losing to the Broncos second time made me very happy.
But yeah, I'm not gonna put the Storm this week.
[01:05:24] Speaker D: Fair enough. Not fair enough.
Toddy, do you want me to go? And then you, you can, you can do the K GR at the end.
[01:05:32] Speaker E: Yeah, mate.
[01:05:34] Speaker D: So I've gone the Panthers and now I've gone for a few tips that have been left field.
But I think it's a lot of its injury and just vibe. I'm going for the Dragons because they have to win at some point. So I think this might be the win the, the, the week. It's also that wind. They usually play pretty good down at Wollongong Cowboys because the Broncos are decimated. I've got no faith with Jesse Arthur as fullback.
Not to say can't play that. I just think he's not a Reese Walsh and then on top of that I don't think Reynolds gonna play and on top of that Hunt's not going to play and half is still carrying that injury. You can just tell his minutes have been down.
I'm gonna go the Bunnies. I'm gonna go the Sharks. I can't see the Storm losing four games in a row especially now they're back at home. I just can't see it happening. I've gone for a bit of an upset which is the Titans but not really because the Eels are absolutely decimated with injuries like and I'm talking about season ending injuries.
So I don't think Pezit's going to play this week even though he's been may. No. Maybe he hasn't been named. Vulman's been named. So I, I just don't know. I think, I think the Titans can get their second win and I'm going to go Tigers. What about you, Toddy?
[01:06:47] Speaker E: Yeah, I put my tips in before I actually saw the team so I've sort of, I wonder if, you know, probably change two of them. I have since I put them in. So I've got Penrith Panthers, you know, I can't go past him. Of course there's going to be an upset eventually but while they're on their streak, I have to go for them.
Then I've got Manly over Dragons. You know it wouldn't be, wouldn't surprise me the Dragons gave these seagulls ago. But your Seagulls were impressive under coach Kieran Foreign the other night despite their opposition.
This is the one I'm going to change. I'm going to go Cowboys now so.
Yeah, I'll get Paul a change up. Yeah, I gotta. I'm with you, Johnny. I think the, the Broncos got a few injuries there and yeah, I'm gonna go Cowboys. I got a stick of rabbits.
Stick with the Sharks.
As you said about Melbourne Storm, you know, like they don't lose too many in a row and Craig Bellamy's already, you know, at his press conference after the last game he sort of said, well you know, some heads are on the chopping block. So yeah, I've changed this one too. I'm going Titans now because Parramatta.
But as you said Johnny and we said earlier, they've decimated with suspension and injury. So yeah, I have to go Titans. I've got to get up sometime and yeah, I'll stick with the Tigers. So that's, yeah, that's my tips of this round.
So.
[01:08:26] Speaker D: So yeah. So as, as we said on the top of the show, the Barefax has merchandise. We've got footies now courtesy of Paul Young.
These are absolutely amazing. I reckon I can, in my mind I can probably throw a 20 meter cut out pass with this beautiful ball.
I probably can't tell. He probably would struggle to go 10 meters to the left sides.
[01:08:49] Speaker E: Johnny. Or just, just, just the left, left and right.
[01:08:52] Speaker D: Oh right. I played five, eight, a lot of five. I put on weight that slob later years. But when I was nimble I played a lot of 5, 8 and I could probably throw a 20, 25 meter pass easy right to left and I'm probably 15 meters 12, 15 meters left to right.
So yeah, so that, that was me. But these balls, absolutely amazing. They come in two sizes. You get a big one and there's a small one too.
So best comments today you'll get one. We'll mail it out here.
Mark I is coming on the show at some point this month.
We'll, we'll up to date.
Hopefully next week.
[01:09:34] Speaker E: Probably next week. We'll see.
[01:09:36] Speaker D: Yeah.

Not physically though. Don't. Don't get arrested. But.
What else? Yeah, give us a like on all social media platforms. Roger will go through it. She'll also detail the cheerleading and our final thank yous before she does that. Toddy, do you have anything to say?
[01:11:17] Speaker E: Nah, mate, I just want to say on the socials, I want to see as much red and black at that game on Saturday of a double header on Saturday as possible.
Get on the socials and take pictures of yourselves. Get that new merchandise and make us jealous over here in New South Wales and Queensland. And yeah, just show them away. Wait.
[01:11:40] Speaker C: Exactly.
[01:11:40] Speaker D: Awesome.
[01:11:43] Speaker C: All right.
Okay, I will. I'll try.
So cheerleading, yes. Starts next week, which is crazy. I just remember saying that it's in like two months now. Now it's in like six days.
So the first day is April 13, 9am till 11am at 3 Price Studio Subiaco.
Do come a little early as I have a lot of forms to give out. I have a lot of information to tell. So that may take up most of the time.
And then.
And then also we will do a lot of team building as this year we'll be building a team and really getting a family together kind of.
And then, yes, I'll be down at the game.
If you do see me, take a photo with me with Paul the producer as well.
Do send in your photos on our Facebook of you wearing red and black jerseys and we'll be sure to put them in the live as well.
I just got info that the rugby balls will be going to Tom who did give us most of the comments tonight, which is amazing. There you go, more Bears merch right there.
And yeah, I think that's all from me. Thank you everybody for tuning in again on another Tuesday a little bit earlier for the people in Queensland, or is it New South Wales? New South Wales.
[01:13:13] Speaker E: New South Wales, yeah.
[01:13:16] Speaker C: And yeah, don't forget, best comment, get a free rugby ball.
Big size, small size and yeah, I think that's it for tonight from me. If you guys wanted to say anything in our goodbyes,
[01:13:33] Speaker D: As I said, as
[01:13:34] Speaker E: I said on the weekend, just get on the socials, take pictures of yourselves at Optus and send them all in. And yeah, like the pages, Perth best supporters pages up to 22 points, 22,000.7 now nearly 23. So they're powering along and we work in tandem with that page. So get on to barefax Facebook page as well like and share.

[01:14:04] Speaker C: Perfect. See you, everyone.
